Identity does the work
moderators can't.
We removed the thing that makes abuse cheap: anonymity. What's left is automated, the same for everyone, and fair to both sides. Nobody is at the whim of a moderator's likes or dislikes, and reporting isn't a weapon either.
Reported 5 times? Hidden. Instantly.
A Space post or chat message reported by five members is hidden automatically. No queue, no waiting on a moderator.
The author is frozen
While it's reviewed, the author goes read-only in that Space. They can read, they can't post, and everyone else carries on.
An admin decides: one of three
Warn the author and mark a violation on their record. Warn and ban them from that Space. Or declare it a false report, and the violation lands on the reporter instead.
Violations follow the person
Every violation is an offence on your record, across every Space. Enough of them and you're banned from the Space. Keep crossing the line and you're banned from the platform.
